Job Details:

Our client is looking for a key Learning and Development specialist to drive the delivery of their key strategic initiatives, and develop and enhance core L&D offerings within the organisation. You will be responsible for developing the leadership and management skills of all associates with direct reports. You will be instrumental in supporting the business with developing the appropriate solution for all new projects.

Key Responsibilities and Scope of role:

- Leading the development and delivery of key learning initiatives; from selection of delivery, engaging and managing key stakeholders, driving project quality, resource and timelines through to successful delivery and evaluation

- Sourcing and engaging with external vendors to deliver initiatives; identifying the right potential vendors, taking these through a rigorous and fair selection process, to select the right partner for the business

- Engaging with key stakeholders through vendor selection, initiative scoping and development and delivery

- Project managing initiatives, ensuring project timelines, quality and resource and closely monitored; updating stakeholders on progress

- Supporting the HR Business Partners to produce functional development plans, and ensuring interventions that enhance and sustain capability and performance

- Supporting the HR Business Partners, and business functions with the creation and collation of the annual talent review, analysing this for patterns, areas to leverage and areas for attention

- Continue moving the business towards a 70:20:10 approach, creating a more holistic programme of personal and professional development 

Qualifications required:

- CIPD or other L&D qualification (desirable)

Experience required:

- Project managing learning initiatives, where development and delivery is carried out by a 3rd party

- Business partnering across different business areas

- Engaging and influencing senior leaders and business stakeholders

- Development and design of workshops, learning programmes and team interventions

- Understanding and experience of the value and application of blended learning approaches, specifically in an e-learning environment

- Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills 

This is a full-time position lasting 6 months. You’ll be required to be onsite 2/3 days a week in Southampton.
